Opportunities for Positive Growth

What is FCAR?

The Family and Caregiver Training program (FCAR) provides education, resources and support to family members and caregivers of people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The program aims to increase the confidence and stamina of caregivers and decrease the impact of caregiver burnout. Any family member or caregiver that provides direct, unpaid, care to a person supported by the FSW and CIH waiver may be eligible to use waiver funds to participate in the program. Any person may participate, regardless of waiver status, via the private pay option.
