Meet the President
Thank you for your interest in Opportunities for Positive Growth, Inc (OPG)! My name is Gail Kahl and I am the president and CEO of OPG.
I graduated with a bachelor’s of science from the University of North Dakota in Elementary and Special Education and received my master’s of arts degree from the University of Colorado in Special Education with a concentration in Affective Disorders.
I moved from Montana to Indiana in 1997 and served as the President of Indiana Association of Behavioral Consultants for five years. I began providing behavioral supports for individuals in home and community based services in 1998, which lead to the founding of OPG, Inc. in 2001 as we expanded waiver services to include supported living services and music therapy.
Today, OPG, Inc. employs over 140 professionals. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County. My husband, Dan, and I have two sons – Brady who resides in Carmel, Indiana and Zach who resides in Chicago.
