Behavior Support Programs

Behavior Support Services includes training, supervision, or assistance in appropriate expression of emotions and desires, compliance, assertiveness, acquisition of socially appropriate behaviors, and the reduction of inappropriate behaviors.

Following the completion of a functional behavior assessment, a behavior support plan will be developed. Each behavior plan must be developed, monitored and amended by a Master's level psychologist or social worker or a master's in Special Education. This Master's level professional must be supervised by an individual with a doctoral level Psychologist with HSPP license in Indiana.

Gina Schenk, MSW, LCSW, RBC - Director of Behavioral Support Services
Gina arrived at OPG in 2002 with over 11 years of experience in her field. Gina earned her Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Master's degree in Social Work and Master's of Science in Education, all from Indiana University. She feels the most rewarding part of her job is being able to connect with individuals and their families and provide the support and assistance they desire to help them grow.
